Build Your First AI Agent with CodePath
In this workshop, we'll guide you through creating a chatbot (with Gemini 2 API), connecting your agent to databases and existing services using tools, optimizing prompts and responses for smarter interactions, adding memory, so your agent maintains conversations, leveraging human-in-the-loop controls for complex queries, and exploring function calling and advanced LangGraph features. You'll leave with a working AI agent and a strong understanding of how these systems are built.
Ideal for someone who knows:
- Basic Python or JavaScript (or enough of any programming language to read and modify simple functions
- What APIs are and how to call them
To get the most out of this experience:
- Make sure you bring your laptop ready to code along with us
- Read up on LangChain via their developer documentation
- Bring a question or idea you've had about AI - this session is interactive and built around real exploration
- Come with curiosity about AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
