Get ready for a hands-on learning experience that will give you a preview of real-world software topics and prepare you to ace the technical interview, along with exclusive virtual events hosted by Workday.

Students who complete the course, will go on to become competitive candidates for Workday's Summer Internship Program.

Eligibility

  • Must be a rising junior (class of 2026)
  • Must live in or be open to relocating to Atlanta or San Francisco for Summer 2025 internship opportunities
  • Community College Students are eligible to apply. As long as you are planning to transfer to a 4-yr Institution
  • Must commit to attending classes during the required days and times; no exceptions will be made
  • Have completed at least one basic programming course and an algorithms and data structures course
  • Students who are pursuing a course of study in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject
  • Will be able to complete 5-10 hours of work outside class time each week
Those who identify as Black, Latino/a, Indigenous, or are the first in their family to attend college are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

How to Apply

  1. Fill out a 10-15 minute application
    about your previous exposure to programming, your interest in a career in tech, and general information about you as a person. You will need a GitHub account in order to complete the application.

  2. Complete a HackerRank Assessment.
    Applicants will complete a HackerRank calibration test. This is a 120-minute timed assessment that is meant to analyze your understanding of concepts that will be covered in our courses.  Eligible students must score above a certain threshold and be placed in either our Intermediate or our Advanced course.

    This unique opportunity is offered exclusively to San Francisco and Atlanta based students looking to jumpstart their careers in tech.

    Students enrolled in the program get to attend exclusive virtual events hosted by Workday. As well as receive mentorship from Workday Software Engineers.

    Students who go on to complete the program will have the opportunity to be competitive candidates for Workday's Summer Internship Program. 

  • How do I apply for the Workday x CodePath program?

    First, you will need to fill out an application sharing your background in computer science, your interest in a career in tech, and general information about you as a person.

    Then, you will need to complete the HackerRank assessment. This is a required portion of the application.

  • What are the program dates?

  • What is CodePath's Technical Interview Prep Course?

    The Technical Interview Prep course from CodePath is a no-cost 10-week virtual class that helps undergraduate students learn the skills needed for successfully acing the technical interview process. The course accommodates varying experience levels including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Problem-solving practice, tools and techniques, mock interviews, and info sessions with industry professionals will be included in the program.

  • What will be the instructors for the courses?

    The course instructors will be professionals from major technology companies, start-ups, and academia.

  • What if I need additional help during the course?

    CodePath teaching assistants will be available to help with assignments. You will be in a Slack channel where you can ask questions, and you can also email your instructors if you have further questions.

  • Will I receive a certificate upon completion of the course?

    Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion upon completion of the course. Many of our students will post and share their certificates on LinkedIn, and we encourage you to do so!

  • When will I hear back about the status of my application?

    We process admissions periodically and do our best to keep up with the volume of applications.
