Futureforce Tech Launchpad
Futureforce Tech Launchpad has been designed to provide underrepresented students in computer science access to hands-on technical training, capstone projects, and mentorship earlier in their career journeys.
The cutting-edge curriculum and 1:1 mentorship compliments college Computer Science programs and bridges the gap between academic understanding and practical professional experience.
Taking place at Salesforce's San Francisco tower, scholars are expected to participate daily, Monday-Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm PT. Current sophomores across the U.S. are welcome to apply. Travel and relocation expenses for the duration of the program will be covered.

Must be 18 years of older by May 31, 2023

Students who will graduate with a bachelor's degree in 2025

Students who are pursuing a course of study in computer science or closely related field (i.e. Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, etc.)

Must have completed a CS 1-type class, i.e. Intro to Programming and have familiarity with core programming concepts, such as functions, conditionals, loops, variables, primitive data types, and arrays

Application Process
There are two stages in the application process. All applicants are reviewed and determined eligibility for the next stage. Those who successfully pass to the second and final stage must complete two tasks.
Stage 1: Application

Fill out a 15-min application about your background in computer science, your interest in a career in tech, and general information about you as a person.
Students will also be asked to submit a short answer response.
To complete the application, students must have a free GitHub account.
Stage 2: Technical Task + Interview Task

Complete a personal website project using basic HTML and CSS. This should take about 3-5 hours.

Complete a series of interview prompts and submit a 10-minute recording of your responses. This should take about 1-2 hours.

What is a pre-internship?
A pre-internship is part Web Development bootcamp/part technical internship, and functions as an onramp for college juniors to prepare for senior internship roles. Pre-interns are taught a rigorous Web Development curriculum within a 9 to 5 workplace setting, and walk away with a functioning app that applies their knowledge of full stack web tools. Futureforce Tech Launchpad provides pre-interns with the technical skillset and workplace experience to successfully apply and succeed as senior college interns.

What is the Futureforce Tech Launchpad program?
Futureforce Tech Launchpad is a full-time paid summer pre-internship launched by Salesforce and CodePath for rising college juniors. This is a 10-week immersive program that offers students a deep understanding of web development, relevant technical work experience, and an opportunity to connect with technology leaders.
Students will be hired by Salesforce as pre-interns and expected to work 9 am - 5 pm PT from June 5 to August 18, 2023. Students will participate in team meetings such as daily stand-ups, workshops and receive mentorship from software engineering professionals at Salesforce.
This program will take place in person at Salesforce's San Francisco office. -
